Rooted in our commitment to empowering the people of Owo and its surrounding areas, the Foundation’s scholarship program was established to support bright, dedicated students who face financial challenges in pursuing higher education.

The scholarship program is open to students currently enrolled in tertiary institutions such as universities, polytechnics, and colleges of education. If you meet the eligibility criteria outlined below, we encourage you to submit your application and take one step closer to achieving your academic and career aspirations.
Please ensure that you meet the following conditions before proceeding to fill out the application form. All applicants are required to upload the listed documents as part of their application.
Indigene Status
Applicant must be an indigene of Owo Local Government Area or its environs.
A valid Certificate of Local Government of Origin is required.
Academic Admission & Performance
For tertiary institution applicants: Upload a valid JAMB admission letter.
Freshers are eligible without CGPA requirements.
Continuing students must have a minimum CGPA of 3.0.
Upload your latest academic result showing a CGPA of 3.0 or above (if applicable).
Verification of Identity
Submit a reference letter from your Local Government Office to confirm indigene status and character.
Only complete applications that meet all the above requirements will be considered.
The Melajoom Foundation Tertiary Scholarship Application Portal is now open. The portal opened on June 9, 2025, and the closing date is July 15, 2025.
